How do I post an insurance payment when the date of service does not appear in EOB posting?

In most cases, when you receive a Primary EOB from a Payer, you will post the payment in the system and move the remaining balance to the patient. However, sometimes, if a previous EOB was posted, the date of service may not appear.


The video below will walk you through the process of checking different scenarios that could cause a claim not to appear on an EOB. The 3 examples are:

  • The claim is on print/send claims page.
  • The claim is closed.
  • The claim is on an open EOB.
